A Tale of Paper: Refolded is a puzzle platformer that tells the story of Line, a magical character made of paper who can use origami to change its shape. Transform into a frog, a rocket, a bird and more as Line embarks on an emotional journey to fulfill the dream of its creator.

The story follows a magical paper creature with eyes and two magic antennae on top of its head. It escapes a house, heads through some sewers, and out of the city into the countryside. There are characters and enemies it meets along the way, including a robot hoover who will suck you up in no time, and a huge spider which will happily chase you down the sewers.

Cool-looking game, and it definitely seems heavily inspired by Little Nightmares. But it has absolutely nothing in common with Paper Mario except that the main character happens to be made out of paper. I feel like Paper Mario comparisons are increasingly common, even when it isn't warranted. I mean... Nintendo didn't invent paper, guys.

Origami can come in handy while navigating across the various stages in the game. Players can unlock the paper plane form on top of a rooftop in A Tale of Paper: Refolded. It is the third shape that people can use to help Line solve puzzles and reach new locations.

People can jump from a rooftop as a frog and quickly change their form to a paper plane to get a head start on their leaps. Moving past chimneys in the game will also help Line soar higher as a paper plane.

There is an exciting boss battle at the end of the game. A canister will pop out of a screen at the final level of the game. Players need to have unlocked the floating square form and the paperweight form to be able to win the boss battle.

The canister is an aggressive enemy that will charge toward Line at any given chance it gets. Staying afloat using the square form can be tremendously useful during the battle. Take the time to corner the canister and use the floating square form to move directly above the canister. Players can immediately turn into the paperweight after moving above the canister to pulverize it. It can take up to 3 hits from the paperweight to defeat the boss.
